民国三年袁大头
袁大头是袁世凯就任大总统后,为了巩固政局、发展经济、决定在全国统一币制时发行的货币,在天津造币总厂和武昌、广州、南京等分厂按规格、重量等铸造袁世凯头像银币,俗称袁大头。这种银元在抗战前曾广泛流通,此后也长期存在,是近代中国币制变革中的一个重要角色。
